The Process

This collection of illustrations represents some of my better work, showcasing a diverse spectrum of styles and techniques that have evolved with my growing skillset. My current approach emphasizes a clean and vibrant 2D aesthetic, often characterized by flat or isometric compositions with soothing pastel hues. This style harmonizes beautifully with white backgrounds, making it particularly suitable for presentations and visual storytelling. My passion for drawing has been a lifelong journey, starting as early as the age of four, and it remains my foremost creative pursuit.

Many of the illustrations I created for BSQUARE found their purpose in customer presentations and trade show mock-ups, primarily focused on elucidating the intricacies of Asset Tracking in relation to the Internet of Things (IoT). These visuals played a crucial role in conveying complex concepts effectively.
My collaboration with Panasonic spanned various projects, encompassing promotional posters, avionics specification sheets, icon design, technical illustrations, and flash animations. The majority of my work during that time was crafted using FreeHand, a software that I've gradually been transitioning to Illustrator when time permits. The inclusion of these meticulously designed icons in system diagrams not only added visual appeal but also enhanced the engagement level of presentations. These icons could also be seamlessly integrated into Flash Professional for dynamic animations.
Additionally, I contributed illustrations to Microsoft's Encarta, a digital multimedia encyclopedia that was published by Microsoft Corporation from 1993 to 2009. Encarta Premium, the complete English version as of 2008, featured an extensive array of content, including over 62,000 articles, numerous photographs and illustrations, music clips, videos, interactive materials, timelines, maps, atlases, and educational tools. These illustrations covered a wide range of topics, from human anatomy to electronics. Most of these illustrations were created using FreeHand, and you can find more examples in my portfolio.
